It does not matter how slow you go so long as you do not stop.
If you’ve been typing $^$ into the regular OpenOffice Writer search and replace dialog and coming up empty, try this plugin. It’s awesome. It lets you look for a series of empty paragraph returns, or a carriage return at the end of a paragraph plus one empty return, and MUCH much more.

KONY 2012. Watch it. It’s less than 30 minutes of your life. But then read this, too, and decide for yourself. And this. And, like the author of the second article I linked to says, don’t stop asking questions. The basic message, that Joseph Kony needs to be stopped, comes across clear, and well and good that this issue has found the publicity it needs, but it’s not without its flaws. (And what glaring flaws they are.)
Seriously, though, controversies aside, I wish we had something like this for all the problems the Philippines has that I (and so many others, I reckon) should know about.

After waiting and wondering all summer, you’re finally almost off to university.
Going to university is often a time when students take on more financial responsibility than ever before.
And, for many, finding rent, bills (and beer money) is sometimes a little trickier than it first seems.
I should already graduated last 2010, but I stopped schooling for 3 years and decided to find a work. After a lot of struggles of applying , I ended up in BPO company in Makati.Well, it was a quite hard for me to adjust but everything went smooth. I met lots of friends and receives the fruits of my hardwork.
After saving enough money for school and after 3 years battle being an out-of-school youth (heheh) I decided to enroll at New Era University where I came from. Continuing my 2nd year degree taking Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English, I’m still learning to manage my time working as an agent 8 hours a day, 5 days a week and a student on Monday and Wednesday taking 16 units 6 subjects. It’s quite hard sometimes but thinking about what will I become after this hardships is the first thing that comes on my mind and drives me.
From Educational Technology, teaching strategies, making lesson plan and many more, oh by the way, reading the works of Shakespeare are some of the things I’ve learned from my Professors. Even though I made lots of absences due to over fatigue from work-to-school-to-church, I always make sure that I do self research for all the lessons that I’d missed.
I get enough pay to support myself in my study, in my credit card bills, buying things I want, partying, and other more. But at the end, I can still say that Education plays a key role in life, without it any one could become discontented. Although some, like Bill Gates, dropped out of college and is content, a majority of the time educated people prosper; giving eager young minds the opportunity to fulfill their dreams. People who are well educated have a lot going for them— they could pursue a career in whichever field they dream. People who take education for granted may not have as many things going for them, due to lack of knowledge. Uneducated people may have experience, and yes experience matters but it can only go so far. Knowledge can be gained from experience and if an educated person already has the knowledge, it ’ s almost as if they were on a treadmill of life going two times faster than an uneducated person. Due to a personal experience of observing friends drop out of school, and statistics, education seems to have a positive impact on ones career, and more importantly one ’ s life as a whole.
